Basanta jee

Good to hear from you and let me assure you that you haven’t “spammed” my inbox. Actually, hearing from people like you makes me highly delighted to know that there are people who do understand what the people you have quoted are saying (there are many more of us like inter alia Dipak Gyawali, Ajaya Dixit, et al). We have taken this up as a crusade to ensure maximum benefit to our motherland Nepal and people in Nepal.

You too can contribute in the “crusade” by writing articles such that the other kind of people you have mentioned would be forced sit up and to note what we are saying and act accordingly.

I wish you all the best.

With best regards,

Sincerely,

Dear Ratna Sir,

I have been following you blog and your articles regularly. I agree with your view very much and there should be more lobbying with our policy makers and bureaucrats to work for the benefit of Nepalese people. It is also very much important to have same view on lawmakers and prominent personalities of our country who can make influence and break the nexus of so call hydro-mafia of Nepal. It is shame that democratic government and so called economists are continuously lobbying for hydro-generation in Nepal for export and make country rich. Even today, in this dire load-shedding situation, they seem to lobby the similar thing and have not realized the reality or they are not faithful to Nepalese citizens.
This article in today's Nagarik daily and published in nagariknews.com (as on link below) by Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, CA member and Member Public Accounts committee highlights some of the facts. Although he puts some valuable opinions to the law makers and policy makers, his voice seems to be lost somewhere in the crowd. I hope that if personalities like Ratna Sansar Shrestha, Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, Dr. Hari Roka et. al. put their voice and awake the policy makers and bureaucrats then it would be possible to break the nexus of so called hydro-mafia chain in Nepal.
