To: 'Mohan Lohani'It isn’t difficult to understand intentions of Maoists. They didn’t wage “people’s war” to accept “parliamentary democracy”. They have clearly stated that they are in favor of “people’s constitution” to transform Nepal into “people’s democratic republic” like North Korea which isn’t acceptable to the people of Nepal.
Therefore, people need to speak up. If majority of Nepali people agree with them, then so be it. but that will only be know by a referendum. Hence, it is incumbent on us, the intelligentsia, advocate for a referendum.
Let’s raise our concerted voice for it.

Yes, we are in agreement but ,Ratna Sansarji, is there any possibility of a Referendum taking place on crucial issues like federalism and others.Very difficult to understand Maoist intentions .
