Dear Prof. Lohani

Thanks for sending comments. So many people became minister of water resources (now called energy ministry) but nobody dared to take this step, except for current minister. Even deposed king Gyanendra failed to take this step in national interest. People believed that only monarchy worked in national interest while people owning allegiance to various political parties never dared to take actions in national interest which could antagonize India. Minister Bista has proved people wrong and I have already congratulated him personally for daring to do so. I can see that he has a good political future and I now am an ardent supporter of his, notwithstanding the fact that I am not a supporter of UML; actually I don’t even believe in any kind of communism - be that Marxism or Leninism or Maoism.

With best regards,

Sincerely,

Dear Ratna Sansarji,

Thanks for forwarding your well-written article in which you have advised the govt or concerned authorities to pick up or select the 'right or well-meaning person' who can implement the West Seti project in a transparent way.If implementation of the project after the agreement is delayed, the person who agrees to implement the project should be penalized. For 5 years the license holder did nothing except to enjoy the benefits accruing from the privilege of holding the license. This is outright moral turpitude.

Tks and regds,

Mohan Lohani
